Founded in Montreal in 2010, digital art studio Iregular (Studio Iregular Inc.) creates audiovisual installations, large-scale sculptures, architectural projections and scenographies, with a focus on interactive and immersive experiences. At the crossroads between art and technology, these artworks experiment with geometry, light, sound, typography, mathematics, algorithms, communication protocols, AI, and machine learning. Iregular also develops its own proprietary technologies.

Mission

Cities and institutions, museums, galleries and art centers are looking to reactivate their venues and engage with their community. Our installations being interactive in nature for the most part, has an attractive edge that pulls people in and carry a higher memorability value. We also always say that our works do not exist without people. Iregular pieces only come alive when combined with human interaction.

Reason for joining GCDN

After the GCDN Convening in 2022, our CEO Eloi Beauchamp brought back extremely valuable insight and connections. GCDN brings together cultural districts from around the world, and as public artists and placemakers, we fit right in.
