Located on an exceptional former industrial abandoned premises in Romainville, at the gates of Paris and accessible by metro, FAST spans over 120,000 m2 of which 50,000 m2 are dedicated entirely to culture. A true ecosystem of contemporary creation for artists from all disciplines, FAST includes exhibition spaces, galleries, technical workshops, an auditorium with a capacity of 600 seats (1,100standing) (Opening Spring/Summer 2026), rehearsal rooms, and a short-stay residence building.

The site connects institutions, businesses, and creators from the cultural field to offer artists an ideal working environment and facilitate the production of exceptional works and projects made accessible through ambitious cultural outreach activities. The Fondation Fiminco is at the heart of this district and works closely with artists to ensure universal access to culture, participating in the urban and cultural dynamics of Greater Paris.

Mission

1) Supporting and accompanying contemporary artists in their creative process
Every year, the Fondation Fiminco launches a call for applications for international visual artists of all disciplines to take part in an eleven-month research, creation, and production residency program.

2) Providing cultural access for all audiences and connecting with the local community
The Fondation Fiminco has implemented numerous event and workshop formats an offers a diverse range of pedagocial activities.
