CECP is a non-profit founded by creatives, designers, animators, marketers and policy shapers. We bridge government, industry, and creative communities to work collectively towards building inclusive and sustainable creative economy policies in the Philippines.
Since 2016, we have advocated for the recognition and development of Creative Cities and Creative Districts in the Philippines. We have helped several Philippine Cities become members of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, and we have worked with both government and private sector stakeholders to envision and plan creative districts within their cities.
As CECP is involved in several early stage creative district development plans, we wish to learn from global best practice of both commercial and cultural models of successful districts. We also wish to contribute as best we can to the network by sharing our own Global South experience in developing these initiatives.
