Becky Schutt, Senior Associate in the London office with AEA Consulting, has delivered strategic, capital project and business plans at senior executive and board level for over 50 international arts organisations, funders and governments globally, including Afghanistan National Museum, Arts Centre Melbourne, Barbican, Beamish, British Council, State Tretyakov Gallery, Tate and UKTI.
She is Founding Chair of the UK's national Relaxed Theatre Project, designed to ensure theatre performances are (more) welcoming for people with autism, learning disabilities, or sensory or communication disorders and their families. The program was delivered in partnership with The National Theatre; RSC; Globe; and regional theaters across the UK. A new Relaxed Concert Pilot Project is now in development with the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, Arts Centre Melbourne and Birmingham Town Hall Symphony Hall.
With an enthusiastic commitment to inspiring the next generation of board members and directors, Becky is also a Fellow at University of Cambridge Judge Business School, where she established the Cultural, Arts and Media concentration on the MBA program in 2009. She has partnered with a range of organizations spanning the creative industries on case studies and consulting projects, including Aldeburgh Music, AxelSpringer, CultureLabel, Digital Theatre, Global Gumbo Group, Harper Collins, Ingenious Media, Kettle’s Yard/Plus Tate, London Design Festival, NBC Universal, PRS for Music Foundation, Royal Academy of Arts, Sky Arts and SnapFashion.
