GCDN is delighted to introduce the newest member to join our network: HOTA, Home of the Arts on the Gold Coast, Australia.
HOTA, Home of the Arts is the Gold Coast’s emerging 17 hectare cultural precinct and vibrant creative nucleus. Located within walking distance of iconic Surfers Paradise, it is where visitors engage, enjoy and connect with the rapidly evolving and maturing arts and culture expression of the nation’s sixth largest city.
A masterplan for the site will see the site being completed in stages over the coming ten to fifteen years. Work has begun on the construction of a new $62m art gallery. When completed in early 2021, it will be the largest public Gallery outside a capital city in Australia with the ability and ambition to present exhibitions of national and international scale.
