The GCDN is made up of a variety of organizations at the intersection of urban planning and governance, and arts, culture and creativity.
The network offers three membership types:
Members include cultural institutions, designated cultural districts, non-profits, foundations, private initiatives, and other entities who are responsible for conceiving, funding, building, and operating areas within a city where significant cultural and creative activities take place.
Affiliate Members are key organizations and individuals who provide services in support of the governance and operation of international cultural districts. They share the common interests of the network but don’t represent a specific geographical area.
Sponsor Members come from either category but are distinguished by their higher financial support for the Network, for which they receive additional benefits and recognition.
